Fairy wings

A couple more teacher notebook presents to show today. This was another impulse stamp buy, years ago at a craft show, and it's still a favourite.

I'm entering this into the Try it on Tuesday- Things with wings challenge.

That stamp.

You know how there's that one stamp that you bought on a whim, because you kinda liked it, and then you realise it was one of your best buys ever? Well that's this dress stamp.

Stamps beautifully, paper pieces perfectly. Always looks great once it's blinged up.

This card was a last minute commission, and my trusty dress stamp didn't disappoint!

Summer, summer, summertime!

Bye bye school for a few weeks, and after today, bye bye work for me for a few days too, hurray! I made notebooks for Miss Little Legs' lovely teachers- this one was a favourite.

I think it's the colours, so bright and summery.

The Lavinia fairy is stamped twice and cut out so that she pops up a bit from the background. I indulged in one of my most-used techniques round the edges- stamping in a lighter colour, then overlaying with black. It gives the border depth.

Lots of sparkle!!! Well, you'd expect no less from me!

and also into the Stamping Sensations challenge- summer blooms

Anything goes challenge at That craft place

It's a fab Anything Goes challenge at That Craft Place this fortnight. That's an easy one, right?

That Craft Place Challenge Blog

I made a cover for a little concertina book. I have NO idea what's going in the book, but I love the cover!

The Mad Hatter is a stamp from Octopode, and the funky flowers are Ditzie Design Digis. There's a background stamp honeycomb wire in there from That Craft Place as well as some fab gold skeleton leaves. It's well worth a pop over to see what they have in stock!

Right, on with the weekend, hope you're having a good one!

I'm also entering this into the Stamping Sensations challenge- Summer flowers.

Thank you teacher....part 1.

These notebooks are for my gorgeous nephew to give to his teachers at school next week.

The image is Bugaboo, and it's kinda cute.

Mmmmm, ice cream......

So, cutey card happen from time to time. This one is tooth achingly sweet.

The Stampin' Bella image is coloured with Promarkers- I had to blow the dust off the box, it's been so long since I used them!

Good luck!

A card this week for a colleague who's leaving at work. It's a big one- 8x8, so there's room for everyone to sign it.

She's a real coffee lover, so this Stampin' Up coffee cup seemed appropriate!

I added diamante steam swirls for a spot of sparkle. The paper is quite summery and girly so the sparkle seemed to work.

I'm entering this into the Crafting Musketeers challenge- summer colours.

Decorate a bag at That Craft Place

Hello everyone, hope you're having a good weekend! I'm completely absorbed by the Tour de France, as I am most years.

Anyway, it's time for another challenge at That Craft Place

That Craft Place Challenge Blog

We had some amazing Anything Goes entries for our last challenge, remember to check on the challenge bin next week to see who the winner and top 3 are, plus the winner of the Blog Hop :-)

My blog hop winner is #1 Jodpea- well done and I'll get your prize to you!

Now onto our new challenge which is hosted by our DT member Shell

Decorate a Bag

Team A will be showing lots of inspiration over on our That Craft Place Natter and Chatter Facebook Page but I'm Team B, so here's my bag.

It's a little sheer gift bag/pouch, and I've photographed it with white card in the middle so that you can see the design-I used a favourite Lavinia stamp and lots of stickles glitter :) The bag is a lovely soft peachy cream colour, so I went for a greyish lavender which hasn't really come out on the photo :(

Hope you join in and show us a decorated bag!
