So, cutey card happen from time to time. This one is tooth achingly sweet.

The Stampin' Bella image is coloured with Promarkers- I had to blow the dust off the box, it's been so long since I used them!

Oh this is a lovely stamp, and the quote is very apt for the image. This is quite a large card- 8x8, so it can take the large flower DCWV paper easily. 

Ha! Can you tell I was having a rubbish at bows day? I quite like the knot though, fits with the elegant feel.

I had a lovely evening last week with some crafty friends- Kay, Angy, Michelle and Margrit. Whilst we were there I stamped this lovely card (thanks Margrit!), and I finished it off over the weekend.

I went for shades of black and grey, although there's a couple of pink gem flower centres in there as well!

I'm entering this into the That's Crafty challenge- black and white with a splash of colour, 

and the Crafting Musketeers' Monochrome challenge.

Seeing spots

I've been working on this card for about a fortnight, ever since I stamped the image at a crafty evening with some crafty friends. Time just gets away from me sometimes. To be fair, I have had a major piece of storage put up, and have done some serious craft stash sorting in between times!

The image is Stamping Bella. Ooh you can see my new spotty tablecloth- d'ya like it?

I may have gone a little bit bling-tastic, but this one is for a very special someone, and besides, it looks pretty :)

So, whilst I was there, I made another one...... I find once I've worked out the layout and placings it's quite quick to whip up another the same for my card stock box.

The dresses are paper pieced, and the faces and hair are promarkered.

The swirls round the flowers are from a favourite EK Success punch.
