Procrastination is the pattern of my life.

OK, so when the latest of the circle journals in my current swap arrived on my letterbox I must admit I had a little teeny tiny HUGEMONGOUS PANIC! The theme is Patterns of Life, and it threw me a tad. Actually, it threw me a lot. So, I did what all good procrastinators do and put it back into it's padded jiffy bagged prison and left it on my desk for a week....or two..... or three.......

Then I made all the other things I've blogged about this month, and tidied my sock drawer, and defluffed the tumble drier, and a million other things whilst my poor overworked solitary brain cell cogitated and thunked on it.

And then...... in the absence of an idea..... I made a start.........and this happened.....

.....and I love it! It sums up the pattern of my days exactly.

My every days are structured and have a lot of routine in them, they have to in order for me to function as a Mommy and in my job. Routine gets me to work on time and makes sure my children are fed and wearing clean clothes. It also means that my mind can get on with more interesting things......

Like making these pages, without knowing where they were going!

The first page is my doodling around an image from Chocolate Baroque. The second one is inked and sprayed to within an inch of its life, with Stampotique hearts and abstract foliage and the books stamped onto  a book page are from Unity stamps.

I'm entering this into the Stampotique Designers Challenge #88- to use text.
