Sand, yum- TN

Another traveller's notebook page to show today. It's a seaside scene, of me feeding sand to my cousin. Don't ask...

It needed some waves, and seaside embellishments.
The tickets are cut out of a 12x12 sheet bought expressly for that reason.

I like the little stamped stars, it feels like the black grounds it a bit.

I added a stamped film strip for my journalling. I quite like to hide my journalling, so that you have to work to see it!

Decoupage, erm....

Bit out of my stylistic comfort zone this post- I found some decoupage sheets in amongst my stash. goodness knows where they arrived from, but I thought I'd use them up on some cards.

They didn't turn out too badly, kinda simple, but they're sweet cards.

I got to practice my bow tying too! I'm not sure I'd buy any more decoupage, I find the layering up fiddly, and then they're too thick to post really. Ah well, at least I tried...

ATCs- You're nobody

Well now, this takes me back... Making ATCs for a swap at my local crop- the theme was animals, or pets, anyway, whatever it was it meant cats to me.

One of my favourite cat stamps, and a favourite saying too. The backgrounds are inked, sprayed and stencilled to within an inch of their lives, and the cat is stamped onto an old book page. Cute eh?

Cards- I love you, you weirdo!

You know those scraps from scrapbooking? Those little strips and off-cuts that look too substantial to throw away, but they're really not a lot of use? Well I used some up. Go me!

I'd watercoloured a few Stampotique images too, so they got added.

And my favourite little alphabet stamps came out to play. I take these everywhere, they're really versatile.

I am grateful- TN

Another traveller's notebook page made to a prompt- What are you grateful for? Well I'm grateful for my husband, he's a gem amongst men. Really he is.

For some reason I'd taken photos before and after darkening the lettering!

I'd slapped a bit of paint on this one to try to pull the colours together with the blue, and the pink to lift it a bit- successful I think!

What scares me most? TN

This was a page in response to a prompt- a Hallowe'en prompt even, so I've had it hanging about for a while...

Fantastic Stampotique stamp there, I love my collection of handsome ugly boys. The TN page hides a journaling tag, you'll be stunned to discover I'm scared of celery.... Evil devil's food!

Curls- TN

I've already confessed my love for these spectacular spectacles stamps, so I won't do it again. Fantastic in black though, aren't they?

Perfect for a page in the TN about my lovely little spectacles wearer having her magnificent mane of hair curled. I'd dripped orange paint down the page, so I went for a black and orange theme.

The photo is a PixPax one, and I'd had it printed with the caption already on it. Jury's out on whether I really like that, but it looks nice on this page.

Mini Me

OK so first things first. I love these glasses stamps. Picked up on the free, needs a new home table at my monthly crop. What a bargain! I'd have happily paid for these, and I love them more than chocolate. Well, no, maybe not more than cadbury's but I'd definitely give you galaxy for them.

For this 12 x 12 layout I used a scrap of hearts paper and painted the hearts to match my stamped specs. Worked out pretty well I thought.

I wanted a spot of bling, so I added gems in matching colours too. And black pen, gotta have the black pen...
