Poppy red

A gorgeous card to show you today that I made at an Indigo Blu workshop a few weeks ago.

It's a gorgeous stamp! If you've got a flowery make this month, the challenge at A Little Bit Crafty is Flower Power- some great prizes as usual!

40? Nah........

My baby brother was 40 a week or two ago. Not sure how that happened, as I'm only 26.......

I went for a doodled card- I know he likes them! The little house is Paperartsy.

I replaced the number with a 40, and added lots of cross hatching for shading in green, yellow and orange. I'm posting this as a bit of DT inspiration for the fab That Craft Place blog- nip over for a looksee if you get chance- mind you, be warned, if you spend much time in the online shop, you'll be a few quid lighter!!!! Lovely stuff :)

Simple

In my card making up frenzy over Easter, I went for the simple approach with some of the images I had stamped out.

I can't tell you how long I've had the background to the second card- it's been in my to do pile for 18 months at least!

Audrey with flowers

Oh this is a lovely stamp, and the quote is very apt for the image. This is quite a large card- 8x8, so it can take the large flower DCWV paper easily.

Ha! Can you tell I was having a rubbish at bows day? I quite like the knot though, fits with the elegant feel.

I'm entering this into the following challenges:

Stamping Sensations- Anything goes
Daring cardmakers- Colour challenge
The cupboard trilogy- Flowers (ooh I won this challenge last month!)
Try it on Tuesday- Springtime- these are very Spring like colours

Dummy

Hello! I've been playing around with this tag for a couple of weeks now, and it's been sat on my desk waiting for inspiration to strike......... but I think I've finished it now!

It's Dum, from the Octopode Tweedledum and tweedledee stamp, but he looked a bit lost without his twin, so I gave him a little dummy.

The background is Distress inked with a fab Ditzzie Design stamp called Honeycomb wire, available from That Craft Place heat embossed in silver.

I'm entering this into the Simon Says Wednesday challenge- anything goes,
and also into the A Sprinkle of Imagination challenge, which is also anything goes!

Flowers for A Little Bit Crafty

Hello, first of the month again.... how did that happen? So that means another challenge at A Little Bit Crafty, yay!

A Little Bit Crafty DT Blog
The theme is Flower Power, so easy peasy!

I went for a little chipboard hanging.

All of the materials I used for this came from a little package of goodies sent to me as a challenge- I love the colour of the dusky pink card. The stamps are from Innovative Stamp Creations.
